Irish Freight Forwarder
Walks Away With Three International Logistics Awards
Celtic Forwarding took three out of five awards at Aeroceanetwork’s
Annual General Meeting held in Dubai.
By choice of their Aeroceanetwork peers, Dublin headquartered Celtic
Forwarding Limited won three out of five annual awards available. These
awards were won out of a field of approximately 150 possible candidates.
Celtic’s accolades included awards for being the best on time payers in
the network and best networked company for having working relationships
with the most member companies as well as the night’s biggest prize,
Best in Class Freight Forwarder.
Celtic Forwarding was represented in Dubai by Finbarr Cleary, Celtic’s
Commercial Director. “It was quite a surprise” said Cleary after
accepting the Best in Class award, “but the lads back home will finally
see how their hard work is paying off.”
Although Celtic Forwarding dominated the members’ tally, they did not
win every award available. Trans Best Forwarding of Shanghai, China, won
the award for best operations and customer services while Legend Global
Logistics of Taipei, Taiwan, walked away with the award for best
marketing cooperation.
Aeroceanetwork is a San Francisco area based non-exclusive network of
independent international logistics firms and local and regional freight
forwarders. The focus is on members having more time and opportunities
to develop their business with each other, cutting out the red tape that
normally comes with freight networks. Aeroceanetwork also maintains an
Asia operations center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. More details
information about Aeroceanetwork’s membership and upcoming meetings can
be found on their corporate website www.aeroceanetwork.com).
