Aeroceanetwork and GEN
Successfully Merge Memberships
“The Scope of the New Network is Greatly Enhanced by the Combined
Membership”
Hong Kong – Hong Kong based Advanced International Networks Ltd, a
partner in Aeroceanetwork and whole owner of Global Expeditors Network
(GEN) has last week announced to the prospective memberships a merger in
the two groups’ membership effective September 15th, 2005. “To merge the
two networks makes complete sense,” says Gary Dale Cearley, Managing
Director of Advanced International Networks and Executive Director of
Aeroceanetwork “and this is made easier by the fact that they two groups
had the same management team and internal regulations due to their
subsidiary relationship to Advanced International Networks.”
As Aeroceanetwork was the larger of the two by far, the decision was
made to have the GEN members become part of a larger, enhanced
Aeroceanetwork, which increases Aeroceanetwork’s membership by 25% in
one go. “Prior to the merger, members of both groups were asked their
opinion of the proposal,” said Gary Dale, “and of those who answered the
opinion was over whelmingly in favor of the merger.” Cearley also points
out that the upcoming regional meeting will be the first meeting that
the former GEN members will join as new Aeroceanetwork members but
points out that he already knows of three or four cases where the
members are already working together. “All Aeroceanetwork members should
all have a check of the new membership directory,” says Gary Dale, “I
think they will find some good opportunities to work together.” This
directory can be found on Aeroceanetwork’s website:
